Terms of Service.

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms form the agreement between you and GATHWAY regarding the GATHWAY website and the GATHWAY professional-life operating system. If you do not agree, please do not use GATHWAY.

2. The service

GATHWAY helps you organize your professional life: track activities and plans, manage goals and career documents, follow career paths and stay ahead of responsibilities. Some capabilities shown on the website are marked as "Planned" — these are roadmap items and are not part of the current service until released.

3. Accounts

When the application is available to you, you are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Plans and billing

GATHWAY offers a Free plan (CAD $0), a Pro plan (CAD $12.99/month or CAD $119/year) and a Premium plan (CAD $24.99/month or CAD $239/year). Annual billing is charged once per year at the stated annual price, which is lower than twelve monthly payments. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Subscriptions and billing are managed inside the GATHWAY application. Plan features are as described on the Pricing page at the time of purchase. If pricing changes, existing subscribers will be notified in advance.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use GATHWAY lawfully and respectfully. The rules are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you put into GATHWAY — your documents, goals, plans and messages. You grant GATHWAY only the limited licence needed to store, process and display that content back to you and to operate the features you use.

7. AI-powered features

GATHWAY's AI features (such as the AI Coach, AI resume optimization, AI cover-letter assistance, AI interview assistance and document intelligence) provide drafting, suggestions and guidance. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. It is not professional, legal, financial, immigration or career-placement advice, and you remain responsible for decisions you make and content you submit. 8. Intellectual property

GATHWAY, the Golden Gate logo, the GATHWAY wordmark, the tagline "Your potential has no borders." and the product's design are the property of GATHWAY. You may not copy, imitate or reuse them without written permission.

9. Disclaimers

GATHWAY is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it reliable and secure, but we do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any particular career outcome from using the product.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GATHWAY is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid GATHWAY in the twelve months before the claim, or CAD $100 if you are on the Free plan.

11. Termination

You may stop using GATHWAY and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, with notice where reasonably possible.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on the website or in the application, and the date above will be updated.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where GATHWAY is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The governing jurisdiction will be confirmed in the version of these Terms executed at commercial launch.
